Purchase Guide - Stamp Duty
A one-off stamp duty is paid on the purchase of a property. The rate is based on the sum of the contractual purchase of the property. This payment must be paid within thirty days if you wish to make your contract official and file the stamped document at the land registry for specific performance. The company recommends you file your contract immediately after signing.
Stamp Duty Calculations:
0.15% up to €171,000
0.2% exceediing €171,001
Example working on a €250,000 property
0.15% on €100,000 = €256.50
0.2% on the remaining €79,000 = €158
Total = €414.50 |
